Lathe cut records (NOT VINYL) are made one at a time, in real time, by an actual person from plexiglass using an experimental process and 70 year old machines. This will have more surface noise and light distortion is some frequencies. These do not always play well on low end turn tables. We like to think it sounds like a vinyl record was found wedged between the arms of a saguaro, spending years being bleached by the sun and burnt by the wind.
